Vegan Bone Necklace, made with porcelain and cork leather.
I’ve created this one-of-a-kind necklace, thinking of bone jewellery. I love the aesthetics of bones but working with them is a skill I don’t have. I do love clay and playing with it though and et voila – porcelain bones were created! I soaked these bones in different oxides to get that aged look. The clay is burned in a special ceramic oven at around 1280 degrees to reach strength and maturity but since it is clay, please handle it carefully, avoid dropping etc etc.
This necklace is 47,5cm long and you can extend it for another 5cm.
